Welcome Message

Welcome to the Arjuken Karate website.

Arjuken Karate is a combination of Arnis, which is Philippine stick fighting, judo/Jujitsu and Shotokan Karate. We adhere to all current safety regulations so all students must supply and wear their own mouthguard, gloves, chest or groin guard and foot pads. Students are welcome to participate in any NAS Tournament (, a non contact competition including continuous sparring, point sparring and Kata (Forms).  This builds confidence and shows the student what areas they need to develop.  Arjuken also involves weaponry training which aides hand and eye coordination. Arjuken Karate is fun and safe but as with all Martial Arts, it requires a certain amount of discipline and respect for peers.  This will also be taught and monitored in a comfortable atmosphere.
